Or a friend of a friend (always a friend of a friend!) who went all-in on a meme stock or Bitcoin and pulled out his cash at just the right moment and now lives a stress-free life of affluence in Puerto Rico soaking up the vibes.
These stories are about as common as those of people who win millions playing Powerball. In other words, they happen but they are extremely rare. So rare they aren’t worth re-telling because we don’t actually learn much from these stories.
